I’m in Visalia, California. Are there drug rehabs here that wouldn’t mind being part of a documentary?

You should contact rehab centers directly; I doubt many of the staff / management spend a lot of time in this area.

There are a lot of issues to work out: patient / staff privacy and confidentiality; privacy of treatment. The center may insist on rights to supervise your final edit / product prior to release, distribution or showing. I’m sure there are more considerations that have slipped my mind. Is this a student class project, training program or something destined for cable?

I’ve heard that drug rehabilitation centers can be very strict when it comes to their privacy, specially the patients’. I don’t know if you’ll be able to interview the patients, but I guess it’ll have to depend upon the doctors’ discretion. Below are links that will help you find drug rehabs.
